Nitish inaugurates four engineering colleges in two days

Patna, (Bihar Times): The Bihar chief minister has set up a record of sort.
In the last two days––November 19 and 20––he inaugurated four government engineering colleges.

While one in Chandi in Nalanda district will have new infrastructure the three others in Khizersarai in Gaya, Darbhanga and Motihari have been revived. Three private engineering colleges came up in these three places in 1980s which were later on taken over by the state government. However, by the mid-1990s all the three got closed.

The chief minister said that soon Bihar will be producing 780 extra engineers every year as it has now four more colleges. Besides, the state will shortly have three medical colleges. He said that talks had been held with the president of the Medical Council of India to overcome the hurdle in this direction.

Nitish also said that private engineering colleges are also welcomed in the state and assured that the students of Bihar will not have to go out of the state for higher studies and technical education.

The inauguration of Chandi and Gaya took place on the first day while that in Motihari and Darbhanga on the second day.

However, everything did not go smoothly as two ministers of his cabinet hailing from Gaya district, Prem Kumar and Jitan Ram Manjhi were sore as they were not invited in the function. Similarly, former chief minister, Dr Jagannath Misrha, whose son Nitish Mishra is the disaster management minister of Bihar, is furious as the name of Jagannath Mishra Institute of Technology, Darbhanga, has been changed into the Darbhanga Engineering College.

Dr Mishra’s supporters said that even the former chief minister, Lalu Yadav, did not change the name of the college when it was taken over by the then state government.

I hereby express my deep emotional connect with the opening of Nalanda University under the guidance of Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, former President of India and Mr. Nitish Kumar Chief Minister of Bihar. As we are aware what importance the name 'Nalanda' has in the field of education and excellence, revival of same degree of education and excellence may not be impossible seeing the interest shown by the people like Dr. Kalam and Mr. Nitish Kumar. It is high time that Bihar -a perceived acronym of lawlessness and backwardness as of now, asserts itself at the stage of world educational forum and intellectual map. Kudos to the Chief Minister!

Well done! Keep it up and off course we are with you.

Our Respected Chief Minister Mr. Nitish Kumar is doing a wonderful job .Things are changing in Bihar,it will take time to come on track. In two days four engineering college its a great achievement.Still he has not able to control crime and people are not safe,he should think about it and its responsibility of everyone to support him.People of Bihar is still very poor and going outside for employment ,he should liberalize the economy policy so that many private industry should enter into Bihar,When many of the state is doing why not us,don't think its a big task.He has to take strong decision and action  without any fear in the favour of state. If he will not able to industrlize the state ,will not able to overcome on employment problem. He should think that how he can improve the infrastructure so that industry should come.People of Bihar don't want to go outside for the employment but there is lack of  employment ,no security  and infrastructure problem and many of us want to come back and settle in Bihar ,and we want to work for the development of Bihar but things have to be changed. If really thinks about the education and want open more engineering and medical college  then he should take the inspiration from the state like Karnataka and Maharashtra ,invite more private institution to open the new college in the state.Students are coming from Bihar to do engineering and medical in Karnataka and Maharashtra and paying so much of money why not we will open more and more  college and give the education to more students and employment also.He has to work like dictator for the development of Bihar and its responsibility of each and everyone to support him and our best wishes with him.

My salutation to the will power of Nitishjee who have sown the seeds of hopes in Bihar. I pray  Almighty to give him successes in every steps of life. I am at all not surprised with the changes coming in Bihar, because we are all having infinite quantity of potentials of doing good in life. But, the tragedy is , we are not at all aware of the potentials we have and that is the root of all evils. First, we have to identify the Lionismwe have. Our Ved say, we are Amritputra, we should not afraid of failures at all. Th Failures are nothing but exception cases and successes are our nature. We are all born for successes, not for failures. May God give us strength to stand up for what our ancestor sacrificed their Lives.
