Vietnamese parliamentary delegation concludes Bihar tour

 

Patna,(BiharTimes): The two-day visit by a 12-member delegation from Vietnam led by the Chairperson of its Parliamentary Committee on Social Affairs concluded on Tuesday.

On Monday the team was welcomed by the chief minister, Nitish Kumar. On Tuesday it called on the speaker of Bihar assembly, Uday Narayan Chaudhary, and other officials. The team led by Truong Thai Mai, exchanged views on further strengthening of bilateral ties between India and Vietnam.


She said that both the countries should strive to explore fields, in which mutual coopeation is needed, she said.

The Vietnamese team arrived at the state assembly and met the speaker and others for more than an hour. The team also invited the legislators of Bihar to visit Vietnam.

Talking to reporters Chaudhary welcomed the team and said he would send a similar delegation from the state assembly to Vietnam.
