Patna,(BiharTimes): To develop social responsibility among students a Social Marketing Club (SMC) was formally launched at the Chandragupta Institute of Management Patna (CIMP) on Tuesday.
The Club was inaugurated by Promod Kulkarni, promoter secretary of Prerna, which is involved in social service sector for the last 26 years. He said to be successful in life one should do small little thing in a big way. If you take up a venture you should stretch your efforts to their fullest in order to make it successful, he added.

Speaking on the occasion the director of CIMP, Mukund Das said the SMC would use marketing principles for creating awareness among people on socially important issues.
Das said that the Club is frequently used for bringing about changes in socially significant attitude and behaviour in such diverse areas as smoking, use of seat belts in car, drug abuse, heart disease, organ donation, waste disposal and traffic sense.
