It appears strange to hear from the Director General of Police(DGP),Bihar, while admitting his inability to arrest Sultan Mia, before National Commission for Women(NCW) that when America couldn't arrest Bin Laden how could he nab Sultan Mia immediately. When the joint team of two states failed to arrest Veerappan, how could Bihar Police arrest the don on such a short notice asserted the DGP. Such was the reply of the senior most police officer of Bihar when Chairperson of NCW asked him to produce Kanchan in next 24 hours.

Sources say that this notorious criminal was recently seen in the nikah of his sister and was using a beacon-fitted car belonging to a controversial north Bihar RJD MP. This shows the typical crime -politics nexus in Bihar and shameful helplessness of Bihar Police. If police thinks this is marriage with consent then Kanchan should be located and she should declare before the police or media that she herself decided to marry Sultan Mia. What prevents her to come in public.

Sultan Mia is an established name in the crime world of Bihar. Recently his name came in prominence when a lady sales tax office hired him for killing Binod Kamalia, a prominent businessman of Patna City. A section of media while narrating the Kanchan story referred her as twice married. If any lady is twice or thrice married or if she is a sex worker--- Does it give any one a licence to forcibly marry her?
