The Nitish Kumar government has once again sought the return of 15 Indian Administrative
Service officers who are on central deputation to Bihar. Some of these officers,
as reported earlier in a section of Press, are not keen to return to the state. According
to the administrative reform sources the letter is a follow up of chief ministers
request to the Centre, made soon after his return from Mauritius in August. The
state is already facing acute shortage of senior and experienced IAS officers
in the state. The
officers are S K Sharma, Jayant Dasgupta, Amitabh Verma, Amarjeet Sinha, J R K
Rao, Tripurari Sharan, Sunil Barnwal, Anshuli Arya, Vandana Kini, Sanjay Kumar,
Sujit Punhani, S Siddharth, H S Meena, Parmar Ravi Mahubhai and N Vijaylakshmi. Comment |
