Bihar's Image Improved After NDA Took Power, Says BJP Chief Nitin Nabin

Patna, Feb 10: BJP national president Nitin Nabin on Tuesday said that Bihar’s image has undergone a significant transformation since the NDA, led by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, came to power, replacing the RJD–Congress combine.

Making his first appearance in the Bihar Assembly after assuming charge as the BJP’s national president last month, Nabin recalled the period when the state was grappling with a poor public image.

“I remember my student days, when I had not even dreamt of entering politics, and the kind of image crisis Bihar was suffering from at that time,” Nabin said while addressing the House. “I note with satisfaction that under the leadership of the chief minister, the image of Bihar has improved substantially and the state is now being treated with respect,” he added.

Nabin, a former state minister, continues to represent the Bankipur Assembly constituency. His remarks came amid ongoing debates in the House over governance and the state’s development trajectory under the NDA government.
