Nitish Kumar Turns 75; PM Modi, Top Leaders Extend Birthday Wishes

PATNA, March 1: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar turned 75 on Sunday, receiving warm birthday greetings from Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and several other political leaders.

Extending his wishes, Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised the veteran leader’s contribution to the state’s development. In a post on X, he said, “Birthday greetings to Bihar CM Shri Nitish Kumar Ji. He has been tirelessly working for Bihar's progress over the last several years.”

The Prime Minister further lauded Kumar’s vision and governance initiatives, stating that his development schemes have positively impacted countless lives across the state.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah and other leaders from across the political spectrum also conveyed their greetings, acknowledging Kumar’s long political career and his role in shaping Bihar’s governance over the decades.

Nitish Kumar, one of India’s longest-serving chief ministers, has led Bihar through multiple terms, focusing on infrastructure development, social welfare initiatives, and governance reforms.
